Cold Email & LinkedIn Systems for B2B Companies

Qualified sales calls, booked by campaigns nobody else is willing to build.

We split your market past industry and job title into dozens of small campaigns, then run the whole system: infrastructure, messaging, replies, and calls on your calendar.

Why Outbound Underperforms

A message that has to be true for 5,000 people can't be compelling to any of them.

Every prospect you add forces the copy to get more generic, because it has to stay true for everyone on the list. Add enough and you're left with something that offends nobody and moves nobody.

We call it Relevance Decay. It works like gravity. It applies whether or not anyone accounts for it.

Open your inbox and read the last five cold emails you received. You clocked the template on every one before you finished the first line. So do your buyers.

One message loses relevance as it stretches from one company to a similar group to a broad list.
Relevance Decay One message

Relevance to the buyer

HighLow

Audience covered by one message

  1. One company

A specific reason to reach out.

  2. A similar group

    A shared problem worth discussing.

  3. A broad list

A claim that could apply to anyone.

Outbound breaks in four places.

  • Deliverability. The infrastructure is cheap, the domains were never properly authenticated, and inbox placement tests show delivered while the actual outreach sits in spam.
  • The offer. Your current offer was built for referrals and warm prospects, not for strangers.
  • The message. Your prospect has seen the same email with their first name merged into it fifty times this week.
  • The follow-up. Interested replies pile up with no reliable process behind them, and only a fraction turn into calls on the calendar.

How GrowthXcel Runs Your Outbound

  1. 1. SIGNAL GRADING Most intent data is noise.

Anything can be turned into a signal if you look hard enough. The real question is whether it's worth acting on.

A VP ninety days into a new role, inheriting a budget and a vendor list she didn't choose, is worth acting on. A like on a competitor's post is not. Most intent data sells the second as if it were the first.

We build campaigns around the signals that mean something, and reach everyone else on what's durable about them instead.

Signals guide priority. They don't prove readiness, and we treat them accordingly.

  2. 2. SEGMENTATION Everyone does it. The question is how far.

Most segmentation stops at industry, headcount and job title, which leaves a group with nothing in common beyond a filter setting.

We split on what changes the message: the signal that flagged them, what they sell, who they sell to, what they're running now. We stop when one message could go to everyone in the group without changing a word.

Same number of prospects reached either way. It just takes many more campaigns to do it.

The same opening line, written for one person, for a segment, and for a list.
    ONE PROSPECT

You closed the Series B in March and you're hiring three AEs.

    A SEGMENT

You raised recently and you're hiring ahead of the pipeline.

    THE WHOLE LIST

    Hi {{first_name}}, I help companies like {{company}}

  3. 3. OFFER ENGINEERING Warm offers don't travel.

We rebuild the offer for cold prospects. Same service, same delivery. What changes is the entry point.

"Can we hop on a call?" is a request, and a stranger doesn't owe you fifteen minutes. The offer has to be worth more than the time you're asking for.

Sometimes that means reframing the work around an outcome a cold buyer cares about. Sometimes a guarantee that makes the first step cost nothing. Sometimes something useful in their hands before you ask for anything.

Two opening lines. The same ask, with the trade reversed.
    THE REQUEST

"Can we hop on a call?"

    THE OFFER

"Can I send over 25 companies hiring for the role you sell to?"

  4. 4. PROSPECT RESEARCH Everyone has the same AI.

Everyone uses AI to write cold email. That's exactly why your inbox is full of hallucinated compliments about a podcast you did in 2022.

Before a word gets written, we build a profile on each prospect: the signal that flagged them, the segment they sit in, what their company sells, who they sell to, what changed recently. Then the message gets written against that profile, one prospect at a time.

Garbage in, garbage out. Signal in, relevance out.

AI assists the research. Human judgment owns the strategy.

  5. 5. CONVERSION INFRASTRUCTURE Where most outbound quietly dies.

A reply gets you halfway to a sales conversation. So the system keeps running: qualification against criteria agreed before launch, CRM routing and tagging, calendar coordination, no-show recovery, and nurture for the "not right now" prospects who'd otherwise vanish.

Then the part almost nobody does. Each month we review the sales calls the system generates. What we hear feeds back into the targeting, the offer and the messaging, and it goes back to your team as direct feedback on how the calls are being run.

The First 90 Days

What gets built, and when.

  1. Days 1-7: Foundation, and first contact.

Email infrastructure takes weeks to warm properly. LinkedIn doesn't. So LinkedIn outreach begins by Day 5, testing angles and messaging while the domains come up. That's real market feedback on what earns engagement before a single email sends.

Who This Is For

Is this a fit for your business?

Who this is for

  • A client is worth $15,000+ in LTV (lifetime client value), and closing one takes a real sales conversation
  • You have delivery capacity, and someone who can take the calls
  • Your offer converts warm and stalls cold
  • You've grown on referrals and want a channel that doesn't depend on them
  • You want to test cold email and LinkedIn as a channel before committing to it
  • You want outbound capability without building an SDR team

Who this isn't for

  • Client lifetime value is too low for targeted outbound to make sense
  • You don't have capacity to deliver for new clients
  • Nobody on your team can take the sales conversations
  • You want volume over relevance
  • You want someone to close deals for you

Who Builds Your System

Who you'll be working with.

Jay Daxini, founder of GrowthXcel

Jay Daxini Founder

Jay Daxini has spent six years building outbound systems for B2B companies, with a particular focus on enterprise SaaS. The lesson that changed how he approaches the work is simple: relevance beats personalization every time. Personal details alone do not make a message worth reading. What matters is whether the outreach reflects a real priority, problem, or opportunity for that specific company. That principle shapes every GrowthXcel campaign - from how markets are segmented to how signals, offers, and messages are matched - so each prospect receives outreach built around what is actually relevant to their business.

The Next Step

Book your Deal Flow Blueprint call.

We start with a deep discovery: your market, your offer, your economics, how you sell today. From there we build the Deal Flow Blueprint and walk you through it.

The Blueprint is yours whether you hire us or not.

What the Blueprint covers:

  • Complete TAM mapping. How many decision-makers exist in your market, and which segments to work first.

  • Offer audit. How your current pitch performs with cold audiences, and what needs to change.

  • Pipeline gap diagnosis. The 3 to 5 biggest structural leaks costing you revenue.

  • Campaign plan. Which campaign types your market responds to, and the order to run them in.

  • Outreach samples. Real messages drafted for named companies in your market, with the research behind each one.

  • Deal flow projection. Based on your market size, LTV and system performance data.

FAQ

  1. How is this different from an appointment-setting agency?

The outcome is the same: qualified sales calls. The difference is what sits behind them. An appointment setter runs campaigns and manages sending. We build the segments, the signal monitoring, the per-prospect research, the cold-facing offer and the follow-up machinery. Then we feed what comes out of your sales calls back into all of it.

  2. How is this different from hiring an SDR?

An SDR costs $3,000 to $6,000 a month before tools, and you pay through the ramp-up as well as the output. You write the sequences, build the lists, manage the person and buy the software they run on. When they leave, most of what they learned goes with them.

We build the system and run it. The infrastructure, the data and the workflows stay with the business.

  3. I've only ever grown through referrals and inbound. Is outbound too big a jump?

That's the most common starting point we see. Companies that grew on referrals usually have a proven offer and no repeatable way to put it in front of anyone who hasn't heard of them. Most of the work is translation: taking something that already converts warm and rebuilding the entry point for people with no context.

  4. I've been burned by an outbound agency before.

Good. Bring that to the Blueprint call: what they promised, what they actually built, and where it came apart. The Blueprint is free and yours to keep whether or not you work with us, so the worst case is you leave with a plan and a sharper set of questions for whoever you hire next.

  5. What size companies does this work for?

B2B companies where a client is worth $15,000 or more in lifetime value and closing one takes a real conversation. In practice that's mostly B2B SaaS, professional services, consulting, technology and high-value service businesses, usually under 100 employees.

  6. How quickly will I see results?

LinkedIn outreach starts by Day 5 and email campaigns go live around Day 14. First replies usually follow within days of each channel opening. How fast those turn into booked calls depends on your market, your offer and your deal size.

  7. Will you help us close the meetings?

Yes, though your team still takes the calls. Cold-originated conversations are different from referral conversations, and most teams close them badly at first.

    Each month you get:

    • A review of one or two of your sales calls, with direct feedback on what worked and what didn't
    • Objection-handling frameworks for the objections cold prospects actually raise
    • Closing strategies specific to cold traffic

What we hear on those calls also feeds back into the targeting, the offer and the messaging.

  8. What counts as a qualified sales call?

Criteria are agreed before launch and may include industry, company size, location, seniority, a relevant business need, timing, or potential engagement value. A qualified call means the prospect meets those criteria and has voluntarily agreed to discuss a relevant opportunity. It carries no guarantee of a purchase.

  9. How do you protect deliverability?

We manage domain and inbox strategy, authentication, list hygiene, bounce control, sending volume and pacing, reputation monitoring and campaign-health checks, run continuously rather than once at setup. No provider can guarantee inbox placement, and anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing.

  10. What if my market doesn't throw off buying signals?

Some markets signal constantly, others barely at all. Signals decide who goes first, not who gets contacted. Where there isn't one worth acting on, the segment gets built on what's durable: role, size, stack, the problem they're already living with. The message is written against that instead.

  11. How much work is this for my team?

A few hours a month. We write the specs, you approve or change them, and your team supplies only what has to come from you: a founder's view, a customer story, a number only you have.

  12. What do we own, and what happens if we stop working together?

You can take the system and run it yourself: domains, inboxes, campaign copy, sales assets, prospect data, custom directories, CRM workflows, qualification criteria, nurture sequences and operating playbooks. Subject to the agreed scope.

  13. What's your pricing?

Most engagements are a flat monthly retainer. In rare cases we'll structure something performance-based, depending on your market and economics.

Where the build is large and the volume is high, engagements run to $15,000 or $25,000 a month. A starter engagement is $2,000 to $3,000. Which end you land on comes down to your market and how much has to exist before the first campaign goes out.

We settle the number on the Blueprint call, once we both know what we'd be building.
